I see you have manged to secure a few highscores, so it would appear you are doing everything correctly - including the infamous ticking of the box.
Looking at this particular game I see you have a score of 9, which is equal to 3 other players. Is this the highest score that can be achieved in this game? or did you manage a better score that was not saved?

hi steve, thanks for the quick reply. the highest score on hangaroo is 10, which I've gotten about 3 times. also, sometimes it records my score and sometimes I get a message that my score has not been saved. I just wanted to know the reason for this. If it's something I'm not doing right. But either way I'll keep on trying to save that blasted kangaroo, that game is too much darn fun thanks for the help

I don't think you are doing anything wrong. With no one else getting more than 9, I'd say the game is not quite setup right. Unfortunately I cannot edit the actual games as I get them as is, so I'm afraid we are stuck with it like this. Still, I'm sure the kanagroo appreciates all your efforts.
If you haven't played it already you might want to have a go at saving the pig in hang stan This is a very similar themed game and as far as I know does not have any problems.

Hi Steve,
I got to the end of Contra Snowfield Battle with a great score, and the message said, "Loading high score, please wait.....after a long time, the game started again! Can you look at this, please, it's a great game!
Thanks, Buffy

Scoring is not working for that game, so I have taken it out. Checkout this other game of Contra in the arcade though. The gameplay is virtually the same and the scoring seems to work OK for this version.

Other than the fact I still got a really low score, it worked OK for me. First time I got around 600 points, then played again and beat that score with around 900 points, which was recorded OK. Make sure when you play the same game again that you click the link from the score page to start the game again and not the 'back' button in your browser.

I just played that one too - would not submit my first score but ok after that. It was very glitchy tho - kept jumping about and not pressing the letters properly - that sort of thing - I gave up in the finish as it was so annoying.
