The Voyager Probes: A Historic Journey

The Voyager probes, launched in 1977, have traveled farther than any other human-made objects in history. Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 were designed to explore the outer planets of our solar system and continue their journey into interstellar space. These probes have provided groundbreaking data on Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune, enhancing our understanding of the outer solar system.

Currently, Voyager 1 is over 14 billion miles from Earth, sending back data from the farthest reaches of our solar system. Their golden records, containing sounds and images of Earth, serve as a message to any potential extraterrestrial life that may encounter them in the distant future.
