Types of Renewable Energy

Renewable energy comes from natural sources that are replenished over time, such as sunlight, wind, and water. Solar energy harnesses the power of the sun’s rays to generate electricity, while wind energy uses turbines to convert wind into power. Hydropower relies on the movement of water to produce energy, making it one of the oldest forms of renewable energy.

Other sources of renewable energy include geothermal energy, which comes from heat beneath the Earth's surface, and biomass, which involves using organic materials to generate electricity. As concerns about climate change and environmental sustainability grow, renewable energy has become a key focus in the quest for cleaner, more sustainable power sources. These technologies help reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and lower carbon emissions.
