The Human Nervous System Explained

The human nervous system is a complex network of cells and organs that coordinates the body's actions by transmitting signals between different parts of the body. It is divided into two main parts: the central nervous system (CNS), which includes the brain and spinal cord, and the peripheral nervous system (PNS), which connects the rest of the body to the CNS.

The nervous system is responsible for controlling everything from movement and sensation to thought and emotion. It allows the body to respond to stimuli and maintain homeostasis. Disorders of the nervous system, such as Parkinson's disease or multiple sclerosis, can disrupt these vital functions.
