ouch mo! I had sciatica years ago but it went away after a while - not looking forward to the possibility of an op but I suspect it may get to that Just got to keep reminding myself there are a lot of people worse off than me and stop feeling sorry for myself lol!

its ok to feel sorry for yourself once in a while...just try not to overdo with the "i've got to get up and do things for myself" attitude...maybe an operation isn't in your future...

the op was the best thing that happened, went in Monday morning, op Monday afternoon, physio 1st thing Tuesday morning and 2 walking sticks, discharged Wednesday but could walk reasonably well no probs walking after a week with just one stick but 2nd week that was also gone but you must do the exercises, only thing was couldn't drive for 4-6 weeks and unfortunately I live alone so had to rely on people taking me to supermarket and anywhere else I wanted to go

I really am so sorry to hear about the pain u've been enduring cynt - Keeping u in my prayers. I can so relate about wanting to pick up ur g'son, I do the same thing lol & the kids go MOM stop picking Benson up. lol Easier said then done. I'd rather endure the pain then not pick him up "once" in awhile. Get well soon gf & let hubby wait on u I know u'd do the same.
