I dont bother about what ones I have done and where I am in the list - I have only gone into the rankings to see if there are any games that have not been played

I have been watching this rankings script over the last couple of weeks and while it has continued to work OK it does cause a spike in resources each time it's run and with the ever increasing number of games the page is taking forever to load. So rather than wait for it to break I decided to get pro-active and update the code for this page.
As it's not really practical seeing the whole list of 4,000+ games I have removed that part of the code so now you just see a larger summary box showing your current number of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and top 10 rankings, plus how many games you have played this quarter. I think this is the information most people are more interested in so hopefully this will do the job.
The page now loads a lot quicker and this should stop the script requiring so much memory each time it's accessed.

LOL, that's a side effect I never considered. Seems like it's everyone for themselves when it comes to trying to keep your high scores or getting an edge over another member.
BTW edna got your PM, good to have you taking part. If you speak to Camper or betty, tell them to hurry and reply to my PM if they also want to be in the tourney - or maybe they are scared of the competition!

Thanks edna. If he has time to play for 5 minutes a couple of times a week then he can take part, that's all it needs.
